Early Summer Wardrobe Challenge -Ten Items/Ten Outfits
Day 2 - Blue Jeans and Solid T-shirt
If you are a subscriber I sent out a (hopefully) clarifying newsletter and the first week of Early Summer Fashion outfits. If you are not a subscriber, it's not to late to join the fun just sign up at the end of this post. Okay, on to day two...blue jeans and plain t-shirt.
This outfit is really pretty much my uniform for the summer (spring, fall and winter) and I love the
ease and casual feel of it. I also like how changing up the accessories and shoes can totally transform it into something that transitions from day to evening without much effort.
Today I'm styling my Loft skinny jeans (same) that I wear all the time and a blue Old Navy t-shirt (same and on sale for $8.00). I am keeping it casual with these gladiator inspired sandals (similar) that I bought at Kohls last year. I went with a busier necklace (similar) and (similar) because the outfit is monochromatic and needed the punch of personality. I think this is another Kohls purchase from a couple of years ago. The rest of accessories are classic gold tone pieces that I wear all the time.
These jeans are regular length so I rolled them up with one large cuff to give them a more summery look. The belt is a favorite that I've had for years. I love the extra detail the large grommets provide.
That's it for day two. Like I said, this is staple wear for me most anytime of the year because my life is very informal right now. I can't wait to show you what I wore with the same t-shirt with shorts later in the challenge.

ReplyDeleteLove the look... I need some "chunky" necklaces... don't have any but like how it adds a little zing to the outfit! I'm going to try this style sometime today and will post a pic on the FB group! I have something in mind.............. hope some other ladies post pictures there too! I just love those shoes too!
