Early Summer Wardrobe Challenge -Ten Items/Ten Outfits
Day 4 - White Jeans and Peplum Top with Denim Vest
Just in case you hadn't realized it, it's Friday! Can I get a woot, woot? It has been an eventful week around here, one that I'll share a little about tomorrow over coffee, but today is all about fashion. If you're following along we are on Day 4 of our ten items = ten outfits, Early Summer Wardrobe Challenge.
Today I will be styling the white jeans (same), peplum top (similar) and denim vest (similar). I
already wore these jeans on Monday so this is the second outfit using them but the first time wearing the peplum top and vest.
This is one of those outfits that would have been fine with the pants and the top on their own but the denim vest adds a little interest. I chose to wear a long mixed media necklace (similar) to add color along with classic silver hoop earrings, my favorite Bulova silver watch (similar) and a few silver bangle bracelets (similar).
We have nothing special planned this weekend, no ball games or parties to go to, so after cleaning the house and catching up on a pile of never ending laundry, I think I'll spend some time in my craft studio making up a few fabric hearts to mail away. It's been way too long and I am looking forward to it very much.

Very cute top and I always think white jeans look so cool and put together. They are a nice change from blue denim.
ReplyDeleteGreat look. I read years ago that a jeans vest was a must in your wardrobe. Love the color and style of your top. I don't have white jeans but do wear white capris. Thanks Patty

At first I thought, there would be too many lines in the two tops..but the yoke lines match up and the bottom peplum matches up with the hem of the vest...I think that helps make it work. The necklace goes well with all of it. The jeans make you look taller. :):)Who would love that. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

ReplyDeleteI love this look... I also love denim vests and have a couple. When I used to country western dance, I would wear my denim vest with a sleeveless long knit dress (with my cowboy boots of course!) and always felt so good when I wore that! I may not have time to post on Facebook today as have to work... but will do it tomorrow for sure.. as am loving my white jeans now! Also.. you make me actually WANT to go out and buy some pretty necklaces... the first thing I thought of this morning was hum.m.m.m. I don't have a necklace that matches what I want to wear for the fashion challenge today.
