I woke up this morning feeling thankful for this life I've been given.
I have had the chance to realize a few long time dreams this year...being a stay at home keeper of my home, opening my Etsy shop and now this Sunday we take over our new booth space at The Antique Mart in old town Pomona.
There was a time not so long ago when I might have been tempted, in my limited view, to only see the troubles that necessitated this shift in my life and not the whole picture.
What a difference it makes to view the goodness inspite of the junk, instead of losing sight of the blessings through the mess and muck of life.
These cute little dresses were a custom order. The fabric was sent to me by a grandma who requested I make them up for her sweet granddaughters.
I figured out how to add the sewing service only to my Etsy shop if you'd like to do the same.
Okay, I have a busy day today so I better get a move on. I still have some tagging to do and a little painting to finish up. I will be back to show you the latest happenings soon.
xo, Patty
Boy do I know what you mean. You just say it so much better than I can. I'm so thankful that things have worked out for you. I think the Lord doesn't show us the whole picture so we can rely on him to get through to the good stuff.
ReplyDeleteLove those dresses. I didn't know that feature was on Etsy. I really need to get motivated and do something with my shop.
Congratulations on opening your booth in the Antique Mall.
We leave Sunday for somewhere I hope in your area. We don't have an exact address yet, but maybe it will be close enough to meet up.
I know your opening will be fun. Please post pictures. You have such a talent for display, I can't wait to see it.
Cute little dresses :)
ReplyDeleteLove your attitude of gratitude!
It's not always easy to find the silver lining... but, it's always worth it!!
