a vintage marketplace friday and a winner

I am on my way out the door for a Vintage Marketplace shopping day with my sister in law.  It is cold, dreary and rainy but that will not stop us from hunting down a few treasures I am sure.

Before I head out, I had my husband choose a number between 1 and 25 and he chose 14.  Susan T, that would be you!  Send me an email at lemonlanecottage@yahoo.com and I will tell you how to claim your $50.00 Shabby Apple gift certificate.

I had to laugh yesterday with those of you who pointed out that my grubby sweatshirt clad self appears in the reflection of my beautiful vintage ornaments.  Ha..ha..will my faux paux never end!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

xo, Patty

  8. Patty, I'm laughing because there is no way to photograph a tree without appearing in those darned ornaments. Haha.

  10. Hi Patty!

I love your vintage ornaments!! They are so pretty and sure bring back memories for me going to my grandma's house with all the old ornaments and the "iciles" (I am sure I mis-spelled that)...and her old wood burning stove roaring with heat nearby in her rural home in the country with snow flying as we come bustling in to get warm! There was just something magical about those ornaments...and her old-fashion hard candy in the candy dish! I sure do miss her and her old "one room schoolhouse" converted into the coziest home ever! :D Can't wait to see her in heaven!

    Blessings! Carolyn

  11. Oh and P.S. I did not notice your reflection in your ornaments! :D And just so you know when I am off work, you will find me puttering around the house in my flannel pajamas! LOL! :D So your sweatshirt is just fine by me! :)
