We finally got some much needed rain yesterday with the promise of another storm tomorrow. I love the day after a good rain everything just feels a little fresher.
I definitely feel my mojo returning so that means it's time to make a few new to do lists. I always have running lists of projects I want to complete, don't you?
Today I think I'll organize them by category and pick a simple one to start things off with. I am all about beginning with a little instant gratification before I tackle the big stuff.
It feels so good to be inspired again...that quick visit with my parents was just what I needed. I am so blessed to still have them and even though they don't live in the house I grew up in any longer, pulling into their drive way always feels like going home.
That just goes to show you that it's the people inside that make a house a home.
Have a wonderful Sunday, sweet friends. Patty
I love your pretty yellows!!! We didn't get a drop of rain yesterday!! I hope we do today. We worked in the yards again, and today I am sore!!! Think I will take it a little slower today.

ReplyDeletePatty,
ReplyDeleteWelcome home...has such a warm meaning for many of us! When my parents were deciding to sell their 2~acre lot with the two story Victorian home, they asked my opinion. Being the youngest of the three chidren, I felt honored. My siblings were less than thrilled when my reply was, "Where ever the two of you reside...that is where my home shall be." It was all my parents needed to make the final decision to move to a larger, convienent community and a smaller home and lot. My siblings survived...though they had their doubts. I agree with you, where your parents are...there is your home!
Fondly,
Pat
Yellow looks so optimistic, somehow. I love it!
