the weekend

1/20/12

I am sitting here in my very old, very comfortable, Navy sweats hot chocolate in hand, watching the clouds roll in with the promise of a wet few days.

Just the perfect type of weather to keep me indoors this weekend with nothing better to do than clean and putter around the house.

I am happy with the progress in my studio so far and can't wait to get back in there and dig in again.

I haven't had a weekend like this in a while and I am really looking forward to it.  What about you?  Any special plans for your weekend?

  4. This months potluck theme is soups at the Senior center and so I will be making a crockpot full of something. I haven't decided what yet. My inlaws will also show up tomorrow as well to spend a few days with us. I think that covers the entire weekend and then some. It also means I have lots to do today.

  8. What we would give for a few wet days. Pretty dry in Okla. I may work out in our yard this weekend because the weather is going to be nice. Or maybe not.

  16. Cute pictures. Love your sweet home.
Yes, I had plans for tomorrow, an all day craft get together and a baby shower . Opposite ends from where I live. The one is way way out in the boonies. You have to go down a long country lane and over a foot bridge. The other in the city off a main road. I haven't cancelled either. There is a weather advisory for our county for tonight and tomorrow. We'll see if I get to do either.
I hope you have a fun weekend.

  20. Patty,
Like you...I'm headed to the Studio to reclaim it for my "own" creative space! There are still a few Christmas decor tubs to return to the shelves...but I feel a "Spring" theme coming on! Here's to progress!
    Fondly,
    Pat

  24. Your vintage sheets look so sweet all folded and stacked and the little picture is so cute too.
Playing with grands and some sewing. Suppose I may have to do a little cleaning up too. Supposed to rain here too, so maybe I'll put on a pot of soup.

  25. Sometimes it's nice to just stay home and potter.
We are grounded inside tomorrow too,not because of the cold, but because it's going to be too hot.
Enjoy your home day, I certainly am.

  28. Hi Patty,
Yes putter putter, my favorite thing to do.
Been reading my Susuan Branch books today, posted a picture of my favorite on my site. Of course I have to check her blog everyday.
My Daughter just dropped off a plated of Choc. chip cookies, yum, going to go get some coffee now and have a couple of those.

Did almost nothing today as I haven't been sleeping well for the last few nights.
Hope to get some sewing done tomorrow.
