Shout Out Saturday - a few of my friends

Good morning.  Is it the end of the month already?  This one kind of snuck up on me.  I am embarrassed to say that today is my anniversary but because it's been such a busy month I nearly forgot.  I kept thinking it was at the end of the month and before I knew it...it was the end of the month.

Needless to say, our plans are a little loose for today but we will do something to celebrate our 33 years together, have no fear.

But first let's talk Shout Out Saturday.  If you've been blogging for as long as I have, you really get to know the people who leave comments on a regular basis especially if they are fellow bloggers. Today I'd like to introduce you to a few of the ladies who have been so faithful in their encouragement to me over the years.  (This will definitely take me more than one Saturday, so if I don't mention you today, I will next time.)

First up is my friend Pat from On Crooked Creektt.  I know you will love her blog.  She is one of
those ladies who has such a way with putting together little vignettes and table settings in her home. I am always inspired to move things around at home after I've visited her blog plus she (and Mr. Ed) are not afraid of hard work.  She's my kind of girl for sure.

Next up is my friend Susie from She Junks.  Susie is definitely an adventurer and I love hearing about her escapades with her daughters and her sisters.  Plus she finds the most amazing junk and the most creative ways to use it.  She is also a wonderful gardener and one of my most loyal commenters and encouragers.  I know you're going to love Susie as much as I do.

I have known Beverly from My Sew Sweet Studio for almost as long as I've been blogging and was first struck by her deep faith in the midst of upheaval.  While I still admire that in her I have also come to know the creative spirit that she is.  She is one seamstress and gardener extraordinaire!  And she has such a deep love for her family, especially her grandkids whom she will follow far and near to watch and encourage.  She has been a good friend to me and I can't wait for you to meet her as well.

And finally this week is my friend Kathy from Kathy's Cottage.  I'm sure a lot of you already know Kathy (and a few of the other's I mentioned) but I couldn't let today go by without including her.  She and I have a lot in common and I love reading about her life in the country and seeing her latest sewing, decorating or design projects but mostly I love her.  She is another one who has poured love into me at times I needed it most.  Go over today and tell her hi and give her a virtual hug for me, won't you?

That's it for today's Shout Out Saturday.  It was really hard to cut it off at four,  I kept thinking. "oh but what about her...and then there's her", but four is my limit for one Saturday.  If I didn't include you today, I'm sorry but know that I admire and appreciate you and I will give you a shout out next time.
