I just signed up for this art workshop and cannot wait to get my fingers messy with paints. It is something I have wanted to do for a long time and thought this would be the perfect time to just go for it!
I am so excited. It doesn't start until the end of the month so that gives me a little more time to experiment with what I have on hand. With pinterest just a click away, inspiration is easy to find.
When was the last time you pulled out some crafting supplies just for fun? If it's been a while...I double dog dare you to give it a try!

I have wanted to pick up some of my cross stitch projects lately. One in particular is one that my Mom started and handed to me to finish. She's been gone just over 2 yrs now and I haven't finished it yet. Sounds like a fun way to spend the day! Lucky you!

I recently decorated a couple of wooden trays, I bought at Michaels, using mod podge. I keep meaning to post them. It was more work than I thought it would be, but loads of fun to do.

ReplyDeleteI have really had fun these past two months exploring mixed media art with my art journal and a form of doodling called Zentangle...both are so relaxing for me....so glad that you are getting in the 'groove' in your new studio. How fun!!

ReplyDeleteOther than fabric crafts, about the only thing crafty I have done in years is scrapbooking, but I haven't even done that since we moved.
Sounds like having your own space to create back has inspired you to stretch out.
