This first one combines a few of my go to elements lace, cowboy boots and jeans.
The jeans are curvy boot cut from Loft and I love the way they fit and they're 40 % off right now in limited sizes. I have been wearing skinny jeans so much lately that I'd forgotten how much I like the little flare of boot cut. And combine them with comfy cowboy boots and I could go all day. The white lace tee is also from Loft but it was from last year and is no longer available. The soft peachy plaid scarf was a find on Amazon. It comes in several colors and if I were in a colder part of the country I would order me a couple of more.
This next outfit is a favorite as well.
I bought this sweater from Loft in the Fall and we had such a heatwave through December that I never had the chance to wear it. I am making up for it now. Not only is it cute but it is so comfortable. The back is the same paisley fabric as the bottom front and it falls below the hips which is flattering on my body type. The jeans are gently distressed Liz Clayborne for JCPenneys and their on sale, too. The are a bit relaxed and very comfy as well.
I found the tassel necklace at Walmart last year.
So that's it for this week. Both outfits are casual and comfortable and something I would wear when I leave the house. Which look is your favorite?

Love all of this Patty. That scarf is gorgeous! Here in Texas it's been so warm (hot flashes included) that scarves haven't been for me this winter and I sure miss them. Pinning.

ReplyDeleteThe quandry over boot legs vs straight legs has been mine for awhile now. I like the look of straight legs more in the summer because I like them with flats. Even though I live on the Gulf Coast of Florida in the Panhandle, it still gets cool for me, so I don't like to go without socks, so I like the boot cut more in the winter. I have a hard time finding the skinny legs that I think are comfortable. I recently did find a pair at JJill that I like.
Anyway, I love your fashion Fridays, because it is real clothes for real ladies. Keep sharing as well as all the other stuff too.

To my outfit for the day, I added a necklace.
Then when I put on my coat, I tied a scarf around the neckline of my sweater.
"Mr. Ed" stated, "My, You look nice, today!"
