This is such a lovely post, and your grandson is so sweet! He looks like he is having a wonderful time! I love the cute rug you bought for the wood floor, too. I think that is the same one we had for our son when he was about that age. :)
Love the hardwood floors. I think my boys had a similar rug when they were little. Those certainly were simpler times -- when cars and trains and toys were their entertainment. Now it's all about the technology. Best wishes to you, Tammy
I can't think of another better use for old wooden floors than the one you shared. Think of the memories that are being made each day for this adorable little one.
After living most of my life trying to keep up with everything and everyone it seems I am finally at a place where I am ready to slow down and live a more purposeful life. Being content, set apart, learning old fashioned skills, creating beauty in my home and garden, discovering natural wellness are all a part of it. Thanks for joining me as I cultivate a simpler life.
What a sweet post. :)
ReplyDeleteisn't he adorable? love the train bits and bobs.

Little boys and trains just kind of go together. Sweet feet.
ReplyDeleteAdorable post. Remember, little boy toys turn into big boy toys.
ReplyDeleteVery endearing photos and words, Patty.
