finding fall

9/19/11

I admit I've been a bit slow finding fall this year...

While searching for something else entirely, I found these absolutely delightful bits of fall yumminess.

I popped one in my cast iron tart burner and lit her up...

and now?

I.
Smell.
Fall.

The weather has cooled, the autumn boxes are down from the attic and I have a day all to myself.

I think I'll put on some cinnamon spice tea and dust off my favorite pumpkin bar recipe and get busy.

It's fall, y'all!

  1. I think it is because we have had our summer late. It got so hot the last few weeks and I hear the heat is coming back for the week. Yuck! But your fall lovelies are perfect.

  2. I think I will brew a pot of cinnamon spice tea also. It's chilly this morning and I am loving it!

  4. I love your cast iron tart burner and the adorable fall tarts. Bet your house smells wonderful! The temperature is cool here now and it's actually been raining off and on for about a week. Can't complain about the rain since we need it after that hot, dry summer. Like you, I'm beginning to get in the fall spirit too.

  5. Sounds like you're jumping into fall with both feet now!
That is the cutest little melting pot I've seen. You've reminded me that I've got some fall candles tucked away somewhere too. I'm off to find them right now!
