hello Saturday...

Hello Saturday, with your promise of 80 degree weather and bright blue skies.  What a wonderful way to start off November.  I think I'll go outside today and finish off the cleaning out of the back perennial bed.  I didn't make as much progress on it before the green waste came last week as I wanted to.

I did manage to just about finish clearing out my craft studio.  I will be shipping three boxes of goodies in the mail and dropping off a box of fabric to my local senior center plus I gave my grandson a stack of scrapbook paper (which he insisted I tie a bow on) to give to his kindergarten teacher.  It feels good to know someone will be enjoying a few of the pretty things that were just tucked away in my cupboards.

I thought I would leave you with a few pictures of my sweet grandchildren from Halloween.  It is such a treat to relive those adorable years through them.

This week I will be heading out on a jet plane with my mom to see my little sister in Texas.  I know she has some fun places for us to visit on the agenda and I will be taking along a craft for us girls to do.

What about you?  What does this first week of November look like for you?

xo, Patty

  1. Awww! Your grandchildren are so cute! :) I'm glad you managed to rid yourself of some of the crafty stuff (and make room for more!!) Its a really nice thing you are doing in giving them away. This week I am mainly doing uni work and maybe a little bit of baking.

Your grandkids are so adorable and I can't wait to some day have some grandchildren of my own to enjoy childhood all over again with, without the responsibility, hahahaha, sounds like perfection:>) Just getting some things done around the house getting ready for our daughter and son in love next weekend. I just can't wait. Have fun with your sis!

  5. Precious children! I am going this afternoon to the NICU to see my two newest great granddaughters. They are both so small and precious! I am so thankful that so far they are so healthy.
