Finding peace this last week has been a little more difficult for me. I have needed to be deliberate and really seek it. But it is there...
Tucked behind the troubles that are crowding the front of my mind, wanting to move forward and provide the comfort that my heart is so longing for. That gentle assurance that no matter the outcome, all is well with my soul.
As I sit and watch the fireplace glowing, I am so thankful for my safe haven, my cozy little home, surrounded by the things that bring me joy and peace. I pray you feel it where ever you are, too.
Patty, Hope all is well with you:) Your post has a lovely message and makes one think.

Patty, I'm not sure what you're going through exactly, but I'm really glad you're having a better week. God will give you the peace you need (as you know) if you only rest in Him. I love having words like that scattered around my home, too! :) They have helped me out of dark places.
ReplyDeleteOne thing that is anything but that is your beautiful, cozy home!! I love it! I think I've told you before, but that chair just screams Coffee Break and a good book! :D

Patty,
ReplyDeleteYou have created a peaceful, contemplative nook. I feel more at ease just viewing it. I think, perhaps, that a home reflects the spirit of the person who lives within it.

Looks like a very cozy spot to curl up for reading. I love that book stack with the special candle on top.
ReplyDeleteTake care, grab a cup of tea and enjoy a few minutes there in your chair.
Wishing you a peace-filled week. I love the photo with your chair by the fireplace with your pretty stenciled lamp shade. Everything looks so inviting. Blessings to you.
ReplyDeleteYes, peace is so important to me, too. I always find in during this beautiful Christmas season. I love your PEACE pillow, and peace be with you, my friend.
