sneak peak Christmas mantel

I couldn't resist showing you what I've been working on today.  I'd forgotten how much fun it is to decorate with a little one in the house. 



My three year old grandson has just oohed and aahed over every sparkly thing that comes out of a tote.



He was so reluctant for me to put away the pumpkins but not anymore...




Now he's convinced it's Christmas at our house!



There is so much more to do but I am having so much fun, it is most certainly worth the effort.  Be back soon to share the whole mantel and more.

    Patty, I love that yellow pitcher!! You've got a good start on it all, that's for sure. I wish I had cleaned a little before starting- instead, there are 40+ bins and boxes of "Stuff" piled everywhere and the house is a wreck! LOL I am making a little headway, though- 2 trees up and a few boxes in the garage. Oh- and I vacuumed! Hopefully by the end of the week, I will be DONE!!! :-) Sue

    How colorful and so beautiful...and there is nothing like decorating with a little one...mine is 5 and I so enjoy decorating with him and watching his eyes...so I know your grandson's eyes were wide open and sparkling
