christmas is just plain beautiful. i love how so many have their own look & colors. it is just amazing. i have always prefered white lighting. some love blues. i love reds & greens but lots of other colors mixed in there as well. (:
This afternoon, I happily put a wreath on the front door and some ribbons and white lights on the porch railing. Red and green figured prominently, but I also likes blues at Christmas. Your decorations so far (including the mantel) are very attractive and inviting!
Your decorations look really nice :) My favorite is a green garland with white lights and a red bow- it looks so beautiful like that :) I too am more of a traditionalist :)
I have to admit, blue Christmas decor doesn't do it for me I guess I'm not a fan of all CHristmas colors...but red and white and gold and silver and green? Love them all:>)
I love looking at "alternative" Christmas decor like all naturals or loads of blues, and even electric greens, pinks and blues, but I'm a red/green/gold gal myself too!
I love the traditionals too. I haven't decided what to do this year yet. I'm working with whatever nature provides and what I have. Your place is really taking shape!
Even though I'm changing the colors this year, I do really like the traditional colors too. My kitchen is decorated in reds and greens because my family thought I was a bit "off my rocker" with the blue and white :) Blessings, Marcia

After living most of my life trying to keep up with everything and everyone it seems I am finally at a place where I am ready to slow down and live a more purposeful life. Being content, set apart, learning old fashioned skills, creating beauty in my home and garden, discovering natural wellness are all a part of it. Thanks for joining me as I cultivate a simpler life.
I love all Christmas decorations of any colour. It just cheers the house up no end.
ReplyDeleteI like all the colors of CHristmas as well. I sure love that polka dot ribbon.
ReplyDeletePretty pictures. I tend to lean traditional in Christmas colors myself and love the darker shades in burgandy and dark green. :-)

ReplyDeleteHappy and cheerful.
Just can't help getting in the spirit of the season when you see the red and green.
We decorate with a lot of natural colors and old hand blown glass decorations. I just love the old stuff :)
I'm a "Traditional Girl" all year long and Christmas is Red, Green and Gold for me too. So beautiful!
