It seems my everyday uniform hasn't changed much this week and it almost seemed silly to post pictures of more of the same, but then I got to thinking that your everyday clothes probably don't change much either.
The truth is that unless I am heading out to a party or special occasion, what I wear pretty much stays the same. But here's the thing, that sameness can soon turn into a rut of not even trying if we don't find ways to add a bit of something to kind of spark up the everyday once in a while.
Take this outfit for example. I love a pretty white blouse and blue jeans especially when the
blouse includes a bit of lace like this one I'm wearing from Loft does. Because of the detail in the sleeve all I needed to add was something around my neck like a pretty statement necklace. I found this pink one at a local thrift store for a couple of dollars and I think it adds just the right touch. I could just as easily have added a colorful scarf for the same affect.
So even if I wear jeans and a top most everyday just adding a scarf, a necklace or a pretty sweater can take it from rut to razzle dazzle and I don't know about you, but at my age I'll take razzle dazzle anytime.

Oh this looks so pretty on you! I ordered one of the lace tops from Loft a few weeks go but their Whisper White color doesn't look good on me. It looks great on you!

Cute outfit! I can't believe you found the necklace at a thrift shop- good find! Sometimes I forget that I can add a fun necklace to something and go from everyday to feeling all stylish and put together.

For some reason, I always feel overdressed when I were jewelry unless I am really getting dressed up. You make it look so effortless. I am going to have to get out of my comfort zone and start adding more accessories to my outfits. It really adds some class. You look adorable.
