I was lucky enough to spend a couple of days with my sister, who is visiting from Texas, over the weekend. To wake up to the chatter of her and my mom whispering over their morning coffee is one of the most cherished sounds I know and one that I hope never to take for granted.
I got home today to a couple of my honey do's completed by my sweet man and a stack of 2 x 4 blocks that he cut for me piled nicely on my studio table just waiting for a quiet moment to be able to stop and create.
Sometimes (scratch that) always...it is so nice to take a minute and appreciate the joy and beauty that is right under our noses.
