I am midway through the tweaking of my living room and am loving all the colors but I have to admit I am a bit nervous to see it all come together.
I spent an evening last week sewing up these pretty pillows for the sofa. The top and bottom ones were made from vintage sheets that I finally found the nerve to cut into. The others are fabrics I already had in my stash.
I purchased a new bold geometric shade at Target in a teal blue and spray painted the base of the lamp in sunshine yellow. Bold I know...but I love how it turned out.
Other than this sneak peak at the pillows, I am saving the rest of the room until the walls are painted white. If the weather holds, that should happen this week.
I better get back to it or I will never get it done!
Have a wonderful weekend...
xo, Patty

I cut into many sheets and quilts through the years and I must say...I was always nervous, especially with the quilts. But, I always loved the results.
