Celebrate America

7/4/13

Just popping in to wish you all a Happy 4th of July.

I am heading out to Big Bear Lake to watch the fireworks from a pontoon boat with my family.

This is a first for me, but we're hoping to make it an annual tradition.

What about you?  How will you celebrate America today?

Whatever it is, I hope you have a terrific day!

xo, Patty

  3. Hi Patty, I think you're going to have a wonderful time! I think that would be a fun way to spend it on the water. We can see the fireworks from our upper deck, so we just stay home and BBQ. They don't start here until 10:15 because it gets dark so late up here! Sorry I haven't been around much...I haven't forgotten about your blog, and I follow you on Bloglovin too! Guess I've mostly been a stalker lately and not a commenter. (hope to get better about that. :-) Have a Happy 4th!

  6. I have done Big Bear Lake on the 4th of July - many years ago.

Our tradition is a potluck BBQ at the ocean front house on our lane. A tradition for us for the past 15 years. And, my contribution is homemade chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches. People on the lane start asking the week before if I will be making them.

I hope your pontoon boat was fun!
