easily distracted

I just wanted to pop in and say Hi and to show you a little more of what came out of my craft room last week.

I am knee deep in my purge a thon this week and trying to stay on schedule.  I spent about an hour and half outside taking things out of the sun room/storage shed and sorting them into keep, donate, kids better pick up soon or they will be donated, and trash piles.

I'm proud to say that the car has been loaded with my first haul to Goodwill.  There is so much more to go but the heat has set in so I am moving inside to the linen closet next.  I'll head back outside tomorrow morning.

Oh well, my break is over so I'm going to get back to it.  I am so easily distracted that if I stay on this computer a minute longer I may just check my facebook and pinterest boards and we all know how long that can take.

Hope you all are having a sunshine filled day.

xo, Patty

  2. Hi, Patty

My shed needs a good thorough clean-out and some reorganzing. The dress you made is fantastic.

I actually took out some fabric last week to attempt making a little rag doll, and then got bogged down trying to learn how to embroider some symmetrical eyes on the face piece. Embroidery is brand new to me; guess I don't scare too easily! I'll have to take it out and try again. Don't hold you breath for any blog photos on this project. Maybe you can send along a little of your skill set!

  8. That is such a pretty dress you made, the lucky little girl that gets to wear it. You are a very good seam stress. Such gorgeous fabric and the style is adorable, did you design it?
Uh yeah, when you get done with your shed come on out to CO to help me with mine. I avoid cleaning it out cause every time I attempt it hubs and I fight like crazy, not too good for two old srs and their blood pressure, lol.
Have a feeling our shed is quite a bit bigger than yours. If I clean it out then I have to make decisions about getting rid of things and I want to keep it all. Hey I might need that odd thing someday.
    Happy summer.
