vintage lace book marks

One of the things I've been working on while I've been holed up in my craft studio are these vintage lace bookmarks.


They actually evolved from another project that I'll share a bit later but right now these pretty place keepers have captured my attention.


Each one is layered with antique lace and hand beading plus a string of pretty beads on the end.


The words are hand stamped and can be customized with any praise song, verse or saying you desire.  I think they would make the perfect pick me up gift for a friend or even for yourself.

 
I have a few ready made in my etsy shop or you can contact me to make a personalized one. I also added a link to the bar under my header for quick browsing.

    These are so pretty, Patty! What a great project for those leftover scraps of fabric and trims. I love to read so these would definitely come in handy.

    Thanks for your comment ~ I'll be married 29 years in May and we have always had a ceiling fan. They may not be the prettiest things in the world, but I can tell you that it actually saved us this past Summer when we had a night with no AC. Plus, the husband believes in ceiling fans in bedrooms!

    I have a book club and every year I try to do something special and kind of vintage since I'm my little town's vintage guru (wrote a novel and wear vintage all the time www.girlinthejitterbugdress.com).
