rainy friday...

1/25/13

(Edited to add...All the garland are gone.  Thank you all so much. )

It has been raining here since yesterday and it looks like we can expect more of the same all weekend.

After our week of 80+ degree weather, the rain is definitely a welcome sight.  If we were in the 80's in January what does that promise for spring and summer?  I will definitely take a few rainy days and some 50's and 60's now with the promise of warmer days ahead.

The rain means I just might be forced to stay in my craft room all weekend.  Sigh...(wink, wink).

I wanted to let you know that I have a couple of Valentines Day garlands left in the shopette (along with a few new art hearts) and they are now 20% off.  Just use discount code love13 when you check out.  I will have them in the mail as soon as your order is placed.

How's the weather where you are?  Does it feel like Spring just might be on its way or is Old Man Winter still knocking at your door?

Whatever the weather might be...have a wonderful weekend friends!

xo, Patty

  5. Well, it's not 80 and sunny nor 50 and rainy. It's sunny and 5 F instead. We've had a bitterly cold week here. Your garlands are sweet. Enjoy your weekend of crafting. Pamela

  7. Love the garlands.. As for the weather here in SC.. We were in the 80s last week with the AC on and now for the last 2 days we haven't hit 50 degrees all day. In fact, today it's not out of the 30's and at the moment I am watching sleet come down..crazy weather! Can't wait until March when the temps are steady in the 70's again :)

  8. We all feel so sorry that you have to stay in your studio all weekend, NOT. LOL.
I can not think of a lovelier place to spend the weekend, and with your enormous talent, there is nothing you cannot create. Have fun :)
It is raining here today, too, and melting away the snow. I just hope that it doesn't turn to ice as soon as the evening starts ( I was going to say, as soon as the sun goes down, then I remembered that we haven't had any sunshine for weeks).
    Good thing to forget :)
I love your Valentine's Day banners.
    So pretty.
Thank you for sharing, and have a lovely art-filled weekend.
    Your blogging sister, Connie :)

  11. Adorable bunting Patty. We have snow here but rain moving in for an ice storm on Sunday night. Probably means power outages for us again.

  12. We've had a mostly dry January and wish it would rain more up here. It did sprinkle yesterday. Sounds like your weekend is going to be extra nice. Take care.

  13. Patty,
Near 60's today, predicted to be 72 tomorrow. We need rain or SNOW on the Prairie!!!
Your heart garland is adorable! Love the red heart with the floral design!!!
Hope we both get some much needed moisture soon and more Seasonable temps!
In the meantime, I'll be in Studio One!!!
    Fondly,
    Pat
