I emerged a couple of hours later with six bags and a head full of ideas with what to put in them.
Since I was looking for a creative way to show them my love of bible journaling I put together a kit
with a blank lined journal, colored pencils, a glue stick, a few scripture cards from this etsy shop, a pen, an eraser, a few index cards and a guided template with how to journal out a scripture.
I had such fun sharing the bible journaling kits with them and explaining how to make their quiet time creative as well as meaningful. My hope is that it is a lesson that will encourage them to make scripture reading more personal as well.
I am putting together a second part to the video I'm sharing below with more detailed how to's and instructions for anyone else who has the desire to journal but struggles with looking at a blank page and where to get started.
xo, Patty
Until then, here's a quick look at what I tucked into the bible journaling kits I handed out.
