hello November...

11/1/15

Can I just say how excited I am that it is November?  Well, I am so very excited.  It was a brutally hot September and October around here but there is relief in sight.

Because November is finally here.  You know how a lot of you feel about October?

"I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers." Anne of Green Gables

Yada, yada, yada...(as we swelter away in triple digit temps).

That's how we Southern Californians feel about November.  The temps will finally take a more consistent dip and the evenings and mornings will get down right chilly.

Swoon...

I think November is in a close tie with February for my most favorite month.  You see, February is for us like May is for you...but then that's a story for another day.

Happy November my faithful friends.

xo, Patty

  1. Patty, No wonder you aren't crazy about October...triple digit temps. We do not like Feb. here in the Midwest(Indiana) so cold...always glad it's gone. LOL. I am hoping we all have a wonderful Novemeber and enjoy some sweet temps...you know warm for us and cool for you. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  4. Glad the temps are finally dropping for you. Here in northern IL, November starts our brutally cold, looong winter with a lot of gray skies and frigid temps. Needless to say, I do not like November - February (and even into March) here in this part of the US!

  5. I am just plain jealous of your November and February weather. Everything will be frozen solid here by the end of the month...AND in February we will be waist deep in snow (or deeper). So, enjoy your month!! By the way, I LOVE your cup! xo Diana

  6. I totally understand. That is why I adore Oct. But Nov is a favorite too. I love the quietness of it and the slow process to the holidays. Enjoy your month! Kit

  8. February is like our May? Oh you lucky duck. Still, I can't even fathom triple digit Octobers so maybe it all evens out. Happy November!
