There was the most beautiful sense of calm and peace out there.
The baby swing that I've pushed a thousand times in the last six years sat still...
The swish, swish, swish of the lawn sprinklers offered a gentle serenade...
This gifted tomato plant reminded me that there is yet more garden time to come a bit later in the day...
But oh, the stillness of the moment was just what this girl needed.
Hello Monday. Let get this day started.
xo, Patty
Ahhhh. I can't wait until I can spend my mornings in the garden. Beautiful! And the tomato in the tomato can is the best ever.
ReplyDeleteI so look forward to mornings in the garden! It is cold and rainy here this morning so no coffee outside for me yet, but the day is getting closer :>) Have a great week Patty!
ReplyDeleteI love gifting potted plants. Your gifted tomato plant reminded me that I have to plant some marigolds and calendulas to be ready for end of June when the school ends. My daughter takes them as a gift to her teachers. :)
ReplyDeletePatty, I love the pots of flowers and herbs. The tomato plant in a tomato can...so cute. Seeing the baby swing just squeezed my heart....My grandson Jake had a blue one... I would swing him so much in that thing. I would tell him, "shake your curls back Jakie boy, I am going to fly you to the moon." He would shake his head and laugh...he is now 24 years old, and thinking of that makes me lonesome for those times. Bless your sweet heart. xoxo,Susie
