I wanted to give the ladies at my table a little something to encourage them to hunker down with the
Lord daily and I came up with this cute Dollar Tree gift box. It was so easy to put together and I can already think of one hundred (okay, maybe not one hundred) ways I could change it up for gifts for other occasions as well.
We take the summer off from officially meeting together at our church and by the time September rolls around I am hungry to get back into the Word through a formal study and I miss my sweet ladies so much I could nearly talk their ears off when we finally sit down together. Do you have a group you meet with like that? I am fortunate to have a couple of them and I don't know what I'd do without them.
In a totally non related issue, I found this adorable mug at Walmart in their dish section and couldn't resist it. I really need to stop buying fall related stuff...tell me I'm preaching to the choir here...but it's all so dang cute this year.
I hope you are all enjoying the dip in temps or the extra long summer, whichever you have been blessed with and can't wait to come back and share a tour of my home all decked out for fall.
xo, Patty
If you're interested in putting together a gift like this, I have a complete tutorial up on my YouTube channel if you'd like to take a look. I'd love to have you click the red subscribe button and join me over there. I have a lot of fun things planned as we get into the upcoming holiday season and a couple of my favorite things giveaways just for subscribers in the works.
I just love that idea. So pretty and not too expensive. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI did a bit of fall decorating this week too that I just posted about on my blog. I enjoyed watching your tutorial yesterday. We hosted a seniors ladies luncheon today at church and tonight is a potluck at our house for our couples Bible study group. How did I manage to plan both in one day? Ha ha! It was 97F last week and this morning it was 34°. Tonight's potluck has a baked potato bar and chili theme. Sounds good for a chilly fall day don't you think? Have a blessed day.
