Whether you lean toward traditional colors or are a fan of whites and neutrals, burlap fits the bill.
I even like it mixed with formal décor. I think the contrast of burlap and lace look great together.
This cute burlap Harvest banner is the other project we worked on at my fall pinterest party. It was a no sew project that just required a set of stencils, black acrylic paint and some no sew iron on fabric glue.
I love the way it turned out and can see myself making more of these for other occasions in the future.
Even if you're not a fan of burlap, do you use it in your fall decorating?

ReplyDeleteI made a burlap/muslin reversible table runner yesterday and I am loving it! It's the first time I've ever used it to decorate, but definitely won't be the last. A banner similar to yours is next on the list.
ReplyDeleteI love these kind of banners, haven't made one yet.... I did wrap my mums in burlap, but that has been the extent of my decorating. I do agree though, it's perfect for fall:>)

I like the burlap look a lot, but can't use it much. I seem to be allergic to it! I got out a burlap and frilly white table topper last night. I was going to figure it into my fall decorating. But it makes me sneeze, so I put it away. I love the look though!
